Badge tips

If you play against Pogobots, you're almost sure to win even if you don't know anything about the complicated Bridge bidding system - Pogobots will never outbid you in Social or Beginner rooms.

To bid, click on the button showing 1 or 2 and the suit you have the most high cards of. Gameplay is similar to Spades except that you play your partner's "Dummy" hand along with your own, i.e. the highest opening suit card played in a round takes the round or "trick, unless "trump" cards (the suit you bid) are played, in which case the highest trump suit card played wins the trick. Take as many tricks as you can between you & your partner.

After the hand, you'll see the score tally and where your score falls "below the line". It will take one or two hands to reach 100 and win a game.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

Game play is similar to Euchre, Spades, Pinochle and Hearts. Each game has unique differences as far as high/low cards, bidding and scoring, but all are 4-player games consisting of 4-card rounds ("tricks") with a designated high "trump" suit for each round. If you can play any of these games you can easily learn the others, although Bridge is more difficult to master due to its complex bidding system.

I don't have any tips for "really" playing the game with bidding - it can become a lifelong hobby to master this game.
