Badge tips

For Wise Words or Silly Spells, a Bonus Coin will appear in the globes above the letters every few games. Just complete all the words in that puzzle before time runs out to earn the Bonus Coin. These are two of the fastest of all badges to earn.

For Professor Wordsworth's badge, the game is giving credit for playing on Easy but there's no guarantee this glitch will remain.

For Pumpin' Up, the Bonus Game is the final section where you select a box. You must collect 5 Bonus Coins to get to it.

Craftsmanship also refers to the boxes at the end of a game.

For Birds of a Feather, you'll earn Bonus Tokens for solving a puzzle before the timer expires.

Game tips

ALWAYS read a game's How to Play, and also check for a Hints or Tips tab and/or Tutorial. They do help!

If you don't "see" any words right away, just enter a common consonant from the first column and a vowel from the second or a letter that commonly follows the first (TH, SH, CH, BL, CL, PL, ST, QU, etc.) After you've found the first word, the others in a puzzle are easy to decipher.

If you need help, click the Hint button after selecting a letter from the first column.

If you're really stuck, click the Hint button twice and it will change to Pass.

More about Word Craft

You can either click letters or type them to spell out words.

Unlike most games, this one's New Game button doesn't ask if you're sure - it starts a new game as soon as you click it. Do not use it in place of Pause if you've already made some progress in a round!

This game's How to Play shows different names for the first four badge ranks than what the Game Award badges are named (but they have corresponding meanings).

O.W.L. is a Special Edition badge and can only be earned during the dates shown.
